Funerals

We’ll always be here to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. A funeral at Saint Anne’s is available to everyone, and we will give support before, during and after the service, for as long as it’s needed.

The clergy of the parish are also available to take funerals at a Crematorium or Cemetery Chapel.

The first thing to do when you are faced with the death of a loved one is to phone both the Vicar and a Funeral Director/undertaker of your choice and together we will walk you through every step of the process.

Support us, O Lord,

all the day long of this troublous life,

until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes,

the busy world is hushed,

the fever of life is over

and our work is done.

Then, Lord, in your mercy grant us a safe lodging,

a holy rest, and peace at the last;

through Christ our Lord.
