Evolving from monastic services in the middle ages, Evensong is a church service traditionally held near sunset, led by the choir, allowing us the opportunity to experience God in the midst of beauty and rest.

Here at St Anne’s we have found that some of the old ways of connecting with God are some of the most profound ways of connecting with God - there’s a reason why Evensong has been carried forward through centuries of change.

In 2023 we are thrilled to be teaming up with the East London Evensong Choir for a monthly mid-week service here in the heart of Hoxton.

This service is for absolutley anyone and is certainly not for an ‘in crowd’. We extend a warm invitation to those who are curious about visiting us.

If you have any particular access or other needs and would like to discuss this in advance to put a plan in place, please do contact us, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
