You will be welcomed here. Come as you are. Bring all of you.

St Anne’s is a growing church, in the heart of Hoxton; with a typical Sunday congregation of around 50 people made up from a worshipping community of 110 people. We are a place for people seeking to be renewed through the practices of worship, hospitality, imagination and generosity; always in the service of God.

Our Worshipping Community is progressive, high & missional

Our worship is in the Catholic Anglican tradition; expect ‘smells and bells’, inspiring sermons, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a spiritually uplifting experience.

We have deep roots in tradition and deep roots in Hoxton: beautiful worship is our aim, yet this is never at the expense of being real about who and where we are. We aren’t afraid to question tradition in order to become the people God is calling us to be in Hoxton. We are reverent but unfussy, joyful, messy, and welcoming. We are passionate about preaching and encountering God through word and sacrament.

St Anne’s is an open and inclusive community of world-diverse people longing to know God’s presence in our lives and neighbourhood. We are LGBTQI+ affirming and rejoice wherever we encounter love. We are a people of all ages from babes in arms through to those who remember when Hoxton was all fields. We have a deep love of our parish and are actively engaged in seeking to serve those who live here as well as call them to a life of discipleship.

We strive to be a place where everyone has a sense of home-coming, so that all can grow in faith and love. We are Hoxton’s place of hope where God’s love and human need can meet.

We'd love to get to know you and we look forward to welcoming you here soon.

Don’t worry if you feel like you don’t know what to do in a church service. Come as you are, sit, stand, kneel as you wish and just go with the flow, there is no judgement here. Come and feel at home in the conscious presence of God.
